This place must have been glorious in its day!
Designed by James Renwick Jr (who also designed St. Patrick’s Cathedral), this hospital opened in 1854 to care for people with contagious diseases. Later, it housed one of the first schools of nursing in the US. It was abandoned in the early 1950s.
