Bye, Bob

Today was Bob Edward’s last day as the host of NPR’s “Morning Show.” He has been the host for 24 years. Since my clock radio is set to my local NPR station, I’ve woken up to Mr. Edward’s voice for more years than I can remember. I was watching Bill Moyer’s “Now” this evening. After a frightening piece on how the White House pushed the Medicare bill through congress, Bill started conducting an interview with someone. I missed the intro, so at first, I had no idea who the interviewee was. All he had to do was say a few words and I knew. No mistaking that voice.

How will I wake up now?
